County outlaws casino vessels (The Poker Games Myrtle Beach Sun News)
All casino boats must leave Horry County in five years, county lawmakers decided Tuesday. After two years of debate, the County Council passed a ban 7-5 but must give the industry a five-year grace period under state law. South Carolina’s only two casino boats dock in Little River and -Poker Games- and attract about 275,000 visitors to the area each year.
